As I think of how this website will be run, or should look, I will be coming up with random things that pre-empt my posts. I have decided I might not go every single day, but I will surely try to, for at least as long as anyone reads this or until it no longer becomes therapeutic/fun. If anyone has any memories of any players you can comment on them. I know that no one is likely to ever comment, but I still feel like I should say what are and aren't things that should be commented on in general. Trust me though I'm not delusional. I'm assuming my only audience is me right now. I'd be shocked if anyone reads anything, let alone writes anything. I'd be more shocked if I'm still doing this next week. But for now I like it so I will go for the ride and kind of treat this like a baseball journal at times.
1. Steve Finley: HR>=300, 3B>=100, SB>=300, SO<=1400
Power, speed, contact, longevity. Sorry, Willie Mays, too many K's!
2. B.J. Surhoff: G>=2300, OBP<=.333, HR<=190, SB<=145
I guess the question that needs to be asked is... How did his career last so long?
